Inviter Interface device updated

Ne inviter board, with rotating imagesAn important update for SmartBots Inviter Interface has been released (the actual version is now v5.4).

The update contains improvements which make the visitor locator more stable and flexible. If you are using SmartBots Group Inviter, we suggest you to grab the new Interface and rez it. It is not a mandatory update, but your inviter is guaranteed to work more smoothly.

SSTI version 2.0 – the great update!

SSTI v2: Reminders, tenant change and more!The new version of SmartShare Tenant Inviter (SSTI) has been released – v2.00!

This version is a major update of the whole system (server + plugins + website), everyone is recommended to update. The improvements include:

  1. Box expiration reminders.
    Your bot will send IMs to tenants who are expiring or already expired!
  2. Various stability and performance improvements.
    New Hippo plugin works better, faster and more reliable.
  3. Box tenant change is now supported.
    You can easily replace (edit) the Hippo box tenant now using a native Hippo box menu.
  4. Website interface refined.
    We’ve made the web interface more informative (especially the history and search pages).
  5. Automatic box scripts update.
    Updating 500+ Hippo boxes to a new SSTI version is usually a problem… not with v2.00+!

New Interface Device, new HUD, new API call

We’ve rolled out a bulk update of SmartBots essential devices: Interface Device and Personal Bot HUD.

Interface Device has been updated to version 4.2 (don’t worry if you’ve missed versions 4.0 and 4.1: they were technical releases, we did not announced them). The following changes have been made:

  • Fixed a bug which was eventually preventing inviter from working after rez
  • New Interface Device version is now delivered automatically if you use the old one
  • Local-chat API support has been completely removed. We suggest using Simple Group HTTP API instead.

Personal Bot HUD has been improved to version 3.8 with the following things updated:

  • Completely rewritten low-level structure to reduce lag
  • Improved stability while working with large amount of personal bots (unlimited now)
  • Fly on/off button has been added to the Movement Panel

New HUD version will be sent to you when you switch bots using the old version. You can request the new HUD immediately in your account (“Your personal bots” >> “Get bot control tools…”).

In addition to these updates, the move command of HTTP API has been improved: it now supports FLY instruction which enables or disables flying.

Group Activity BOOSTER: new traffic tool

We’ve just released a new device – Group Activity BOOSTER to increase activity in your group and also boost the traffic of your parcel!

How Does It Work

The GAB (Group Activity Booster) Machine works in the following way:

  1. GAB Machine regularly sends a special message to the group. This special message contains special “code” – 6-digit number.
  2. Group members see this code and teleport to your parcel. They touch the GAB Machine and enter the “code”.
  3. The first avatars teleported (the number is being specified by you) get paid a certain amount of money (also specified by you) after staying in the parcel for required time.

Overall Effects

GAB Machine boosts both you group members awareness and land traffic: group members know that your group messages (chat and/or notices) contain money-making and free-lindens messages. They are waiting for them.

Residents also stay in your parcel awaiting for new code to arrive, or awaiting for payment. You can pay only the first resident teleported, or 5 visitors who come first – it is on your own.
