Installing SSTI

Installing and configuring SSTI to function properly is a simple process that will only take a few minutes. There are only few requirements.

PREREQUISITES

• You need to have an account with SmartBots (click here to create one)
• You also need to have your SL group listed with SmartBots, with the Group Inviter service enabled.
• To invite/eject tenants and assign them to roles, you may need to play with your SL group settings.
• Hippo boxes rezzed in-world

Once you have successfully met all these requirements you may begin installing and configuring the system.

INSTALLING

To install SSTI you first need to obtain it from the Second Life marketplace.

1. Rez the SSTI Server object
2. Edit its configuration notecard (see this page for detailed instructions)
3. Drop the plugin script into all your Hippo rent boxes

Done! You now have access to the features provided by SSTI.

Note: If you have more than 1 sim you will need to have a SSTI server on each one. A simple trick is to just copy over the config notecard.
