Transferring Group Members

With smartbots it is also possible to invite all the members of one group into another. This page shows how to do that in detail

STEP1: List Both Groups

The first step is to list both groups on your smartbots account. Click here for instructions.

When you are listing the second group which is the one you want to transfer the group members "to" it should have the Group Inviter Service active.

STEP2: Group Export

The second step is to create a Group Export order for the group you want to transfer the members "from".

When downloading the text file for the Group Export order, you should download the file in either the "UUID" or "Firstname Lastname" format.

STEP3: Bulk Invite

The third step is to create a Bulk Invite order for the group you want to transfer the group members "to". When you reach the step that asks for the avatar list:

1. Open the text file you downloaded
2. Highlight the entire document or right click in the document box and select "select all"
3. Copy the list of names by either a) Right clicking and select "copy" b) Press ctrl+c if you are using windows.
4. Paste the names in the avatar list box by either a) Right clicking and select "paste" b) Press ctrl+p if you are using windows.
5. Finish the remaining steps to complete the Bulk Invite order.

Congratulations! Once the order is processed and the members accept the group invite you have successfully transferred members of one group to another.
